Set up a hosted Machine

Sign in, start your free days, connect your mail and pick your model. It takes a few minutes.

A hosted Machine runs on a private server of its own in the EU. We keep it running and updated.

Sign up

1. At app.themachine.computer, press Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft. This makes your account.
2. Scan the code with an authenticator app, type the six digits and press Turn on. A passkey can come later.
3. Pick a server size and your Machine's name, then add your payment card. The first 7 days are free and nothing is charged before they end.

Your setup page

Your server starts, then the setup page walks you through the rest, one step at a time:

1. Mail and Calendar: connect Google or Microsoft. You can do this while your server starts. See Gmail and Microsoft.
2. Your model: sign in with ChatGPT or use your own key. See ChatGPT.
3. Reviews turn on by themselves. First to-dos come from your newest mail, then from your last 7 days.

Under Add more any time are the optional ones: More sources such as Slack, WhatsApp or GitHub, Telegram, Codex and your browser's connection. None are needed to start. Your dashboard suggests them when they help, for example GitHub once its mail keeps coming in.

When it's ready, press Open your dashboard. Add it to your phone's home screen for notifications: see Install the app and turn on notifications.

Come back later

Your setup page stays at app.themachine.computer/setup. Add or remove sources there any time. In the dashboard, Settings has Open account.
