Skills
How-tos your Machine follows. Write your own, import them from Claude or ChatGPT, or find one on ClawHub.
A skill tells your Machine how to do something, like "answer pricing questions". It's instructions only: a skill never changes what your Machine may do.
Write one
In Settings, Skills, press New skill or Start from an example. Give it a Name, When to use it and the Instructions, then Save.
Import
Press Import:
- From Claude or From ChatGPT, then Find my skills. It looks in that account, in your Machine's browser.
- Or bring one yourself: Upload .skill or .zip, Upload a folder or Paste a SKILL.md.
Pick the ones you want and press Import selected. Only instructions come in; scripts never do.

Skills other people publish. They're third-party: read one before you install it.
From your notes
When many notes are about one kind of task, a to-do suggests a skill. It checks your skills first:
- One already does that job: Update <skill> shows the skill rewritten with what the notes teach, before and after, changes highlighted. Only Update skill there changes it, and only that skill.
- One is related but separate: the to-do says how in one line and still offers Create skill.
Not now keeps the notes as they are. Skills your Machine proposes in Settings > Skills get the same check.
Share one
Share a skill with a friend or teammate. They read it and choose to install it. Later edits go out only if you share again.
