Security and privacy
Your own private server, mail stored encrypted, and nothing sent without your OK. The short version, with links.
In short
- Your own server: a hosted Machine is a private server in the EU, never shared. Or run it on your own computer.
- We don't read your email: messages are stored encrypted, and our support tools can't open them.
- Nothing is sent without your OK: it reads and drafts; you decide what goes out. See Do it.
- Not used to train AI: we have no AI of our own. Your provider works under your account and their terms.
- Learnings for the team only with your OK: now and then it asks to send a few general tips, nothing personal. See Share learnings.
- Take it with you, or delete it: export everything in one file, or delete your server and its backups with one button.
- Our access is logged: every time our team signs in to your hosted server or reads its report. Fleet owners and admins see it under Activity. See Fleets.
Security levels
Standard keeps today's defaults. Careful shows no text in notifications, saves no sign-ins and keeps less. A Work Fleet's admin can make the Fleet Careful. See Security levels.
Sign-in
The dashboard needs Google or Microsoft sign-in plus an authenticator code or a passkey.
Connections
Each connection's article says what it reads and what it can send. Disconnect any of them any time: see Connections.
