Writing
Your email signatures, and a few lines per channel on how you write. Drafts follow them.
Signatures
In Settings, Writing, each mail account has a signature that goes below the emails you send. Import from Gmail takes the one Gmail has; for Outlook, Find in sent mail finds it in your sent mail. Edit it, then Save.
How you write
A few lines per channel, like Email or Slack, and one for everywhere. Drafts follow them. Your messages, notes and edits keep them up to date by themselves, and you can change them any time: Save, or Remove a line.
A quick way to teach it: when you edit a draft before sending, it learns from the difference.
It learns only from what you wrote yourself. A draft it wrote that you sent as is never counts as your writing, even with your name on it. A draft you changed teaches only through what you changed.
It keeps learning
About twice a day, when there's enough new, it looks at drafts you changed, to-dos you dismissed or snoozed, and what you corrected in a to-do's chat. Then it makes a few small changes to how you write, your rules and facts. These short checks wait when your plan's limits run low.
Feedback, What I've learned, Recent changes shows each change and why. Undo puts it back. Lines you wrote yourself stay as you wrote them.
When a line is wrong
Fix it where you see it:
- In Settings, Writing, change the words in that channel's box and Save. Later rereads of your messages leave your wording alone.
- Or say so in any to-do's chat: "I only lowercase the start of sentences, not names". That chat then shows a Saved to How you write line for that channel, with Edit to open it.
- Feedback, What I've learned lists every line too, each with Edit.
Be exact, since drafts follow the lines as written. "Lowercase" alone also lowercases names; "sentences start lowercase, names keep their capitals" doesn't. One channel's habits stay on that channel, so a chat habit never reaches your emails.
